Designed and built for professional farmers and contractors who need a reliable rotary hoe for tough, arduous cultivating conditions, the Falc GL and GSL series are available in working widths from 3.0m to 4.5m and are well matched on tractors from 130hp up to 240hp. Their versatility is enhanced by a choice of rotor types as well as depth control options.

FEATURES OF THE GL AND GSL SERIES ROTARY HOE

CONSTRUCTION

• Modular frame with 80mm x 120mm x 6mm front square support tube.
• Fabricated headstock with lateral support frames.
• 3pt linkage mounted with floating clevis hitch and Category 2 pins on the lower brackets.
• Centrally mounted only.
• Coiled spring adjusters on the rear trailing board.

TRANSMISSION

• 1000 rpm PTO.
• Drive shafts:
• 1 3/8” 6 spline yoke & automatic torque limiter clutch on GL3000 &
• 1 3/8” 21 spline yoke & automatic torque limiter clutch on 3500, 4000 & 4500 models.
• Gearboxes:
• GL model - 220hp, single speed box;
• GSL model - 240hp, single speed box.
• NB: Optional speeds (gears) for both gearboxes are available on request.
• Oil cooler fitted as standard on GSL4000 & GSL4500.
• Gear side-drive (liquid grease lubricated).

ROTOR AND BLADES

• Rotor Speeds:
• 290 rpmon the GL model;
• 296 rpmon the GSL model.
• Double (sleeved) rotor tube on GL3500, GSL4000 & GSL4500.
• ‘L’ blades fitted as standard.
• 3 blade rotor pattern i.e. 3 x LH & 3 x RH blades per flange as standard.

SAFETY

• Complies with all CE (European) safety standards.
• Fully covered drive shaft, clutch and gearbox input shaft.
• Rear trailing board provides protection from contact with the blades and rotor from the rear of the machine.

DEPTH CONTROL

• Standard fitment:
• LH & RH adjustable side skid depth control on GL3000 & GL3500 &
• Rear, 8 tube cage roller with hydraulic adjustment on GSL4000 & GSL4500.

OPTIONS

• Optional rotors: "Rotoking" (spike) for hard, dry soils

• Optional rotors: "Terraking" (Anti-pan) rotor for improved seedbeds in secondary tillage applications.
